Since many of you have told me how much you miss the pop ups, I am starting this new series where you will get a taste of one dish at a time. The day, time and dishes featured in each pop up will vary.
 
To  launch this series I am excited to introduce you to drumroll please...
 
Conchas and Café de Olla!!! 
 
You can pick up your order in New Jersey on Sunday, March 3rd.

Conchas

The Concha is one of the most typical and delicious pan dulce sold in Panaderias across Mexico. A Concha is a sweet and soft roll that has a flavored topping engraved with a seashell design.

For this pop up I will be making the Conchas with four topping flavors:
Concha de Vainillia: The most traditional topping, using real vanilla extract.
Concha de Chocolate: Who doesn't love chocolate on a sweet bun?
Concha de Canela: Flavored with orange and cinnamon, the perfect combination!
Concha de Rosas: A delicious flavor of roses and a touch of black tea. Trust me on this one!

Café De Olla

There's nothing better than having a hot Café de Olla with your a Concha!
This typical Mexican coffee is cooked in a pot with a few different spices, and sweetened with piloncillo,  a raw form of pure cane sugar that is commonly used in Mexican cooking. This Cafe de Olla is so full of flavor I know you are going to love it!
