he upcoming High Level Political Forum (HLPF) on 6th-15th July is an important global moment to hold governments accountable on their responsibilities to deliver the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This year, as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to devastate the most vulnerable communities in the world, bold action from our leaders has never been more important. The most marginalised children and young people stand to be the most affected by the pandemic in the medium to long-term and without ambitious efforts to protect their fundamental rights we risk losing an entire generation. That's why the 100 Million campaign and the Global Student Forum joined forces to hold a global youth caucus ahead of this important meeting. Youth and student activists around the world met on Friday 28th May to shape our collective input into the Ministerial Declaration, which will inform the outcomes of the HLPF, and plan a joint advocacy strategy to ensure our voices heard by world leaders in July and beyond.
