Our Folks Application 2023-2024

Our Folks is an eight-month, remote internship that arms participants with skills in writing for a variety of blogs & media outlets and using social media to amplify their work. Our lived experiences matter. And to reflect our investment in the voices of young LGBTQ+ folks of color, program participants are compensated on a monthly basis for their work. No experience is necessary to be part of Our Folks and applications are open to college students, young folks in the workforce, freelancers, and more. However, priority will be given to folks in URGE investment states (Alabama, California, Georgia, Kansas, Ohio & Texas).
Together, we will build community and amplify our voices, our stories and our perspectives on reproductive justice, gender equity and LGBTQ+ liberation. Will you join us??

SisterSong defines Reproductive Justice as the human right to maintain personal bodily autonomy, have children, not have children, and parent the children we have in safe and sustainable communities.
